Re-install CD-ROM drive drivers
1) Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2) Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
3) Double-click the 'System' icon. (The 'System Properties' dialog appears.)
4) Click the 'Device Manager' tab.
5) Select the 'View devices by type' radio button, and double-click on 'CD-ROM' in the 'View devices by type' list box.
6) Select the CD-ROM drive driver and click 'Remove'. (The 'Confirm Device Removal' dialog box appears.)
7) Click 'OK'. (The 'Restart the Computer' dialog box appears)
8) Click 'Yes'
9) After the computer has restarted, double-click the 'Add new hardware' icon.
10) Click 'Next'.
11) Select the 'No' radio button, and click 'Next'.
12) Double-click the appropriate device type in the 'Hardware types' list box.
13) Select the device manufacturer from the 'Manufacturers' list box, and then select the device model from the 'Models' list box.
14) If you are installing the device with drivers supplied from the manufacturer, click 'Have Disk...' and follow the manufacturer's instructions.
15) If you are installing the device with drivers supplied with Windows 95, click 'Next'.
NOTE: You must have the Windows 95 CD-ROM in your CD-ROM drive or access to the CD-ROM through your local network. If you cannot locate a Windows 95 CD-ROM, contact technical support.
16) Choose the appropriate resources (such as IRQ, DMA, and I/O addresses) for the device driver and click 'Next'.
CAUTION: Please refer to the device's installation manual before assigning resources for the driver. Incorrectly assigning resources to a driver may cause conflicts with other devices.
17) Click 'Finish'.
18) Click 'Yes' when the prompt displays to restart the computer.
